I have got to hand it to you Michael, that is one excellent footer............Well done you :).

Do you have to create the change with every new upload of the cart?

Thanks, Jane, but the important clue came from PopPicker... wasn't changing all four files before her post...

No, I changed all four xml's in the style templates. That experimental cart is on "Classical Jazz" (default)... changed in all four xml files, shopping cart will automatically pick up the changes from the styles templates. Just do it once.

BTW... for someone who may have trouble finding the lines referred to by PopPicker, they're down at the last div just before </bodyend>

Here's the html I slugged in in place of the coffeecup footer:
<p id="footer" style="text-align: center">Higher Powered by
<a href="http://chipsontheweb.net">CHIPS on the Web</a>;
Driven by <a href="http://ourspecial.net">Our Special Net</a>;
and Fueled by <a href="http://www.ourspecialnet.com">Our Special Net Creative</a>.<br />
Generated with a shopping cart full of coffee!

I also bought the shopping cart program and am disappointed that the purchased program has got the Coffee cup link.

It should be an option to have it or not.

I hope this feature is sorted soon as I am not sure about using the software till it is

I can't find a cart xml file - I made change in detail, home, and group xml files, but the link is still there.

I did the same thing... didn't know about the cart xml.

Albert, I'm at work, and can't access the files, but it seems to me it was something like, the root (shopping cart folder, or "styles" folder) didn't have a 'cart' file, they were under each specific style, in the style folder.... and the 'style' folder didn't have a cart xml... again inside each 'individual' style folder...something confusing like that...;)

Somebody will pick up on this and narrow it down, or correct me... I'll check the thread when I get home after midnight (U.S. EST), and see what feedback you've had.
and if not, I'll see if I can help more...

The cart.xml files should be in the root of the styles files. On my machine, for example, the path to those folders using the default installation path is:

C:\Program Files\CoffeeCup Software\CoffeeCup ShoppingCart\styles\

Dig into the 'main' (root) folder of each style and you *should* find a cart.xml file inside. I am assuming this is the cart.xml everyone is talking about; certainly these are the only cart.xml files I can find on my machine.

Good luck.

Dave.

Dave's right... I couldn't remember how to get there::lol:
Albert, we're both saying inside the specific folder for the specific style you've chosen...

Thanks Dave..
