This site includes some racey images that might not be for everyone. Viewer discretion is advised....

nice shop there dodgebill, although I'm not sure it should be linked here considering the content. I'll let another mod decide that one :P

In the meantime I've added a sentence to your post to let people know it's definitely adult oriented. (even though the name kind of gives it away lol)

Just finished my site using the Pro versions of Shopping Cart Designer and Shopping Cart Creator. Let me know what you think! (I am very open to constructive feedback).

Looks great Heidi, I'm hoping to see more items on the shop that incorporate some of the other things you say you do such as Screen Printing, Embroidery etc. If these things are actually available for your current product line, maybe adding another Option for people to choose which method they would like to use (depending on the product of course and what is available for it). That's really the only thing I saw lacking was the ability to order things in the type of method I wanted used, (well not me personally but in general hehe). I'm sure there's lots of ways you can incorprate things like the Embroidery with the shop, maybe offering white shirts with an option for embroidery, then options for pricing depending on lettering etc. Something to think about for sure. Good job though :)

Managed to do all this in a couple of days :D ... It was actually fun as promised!
I've tried so many software in the past, but this one managed to solve the 'options' issue.

Woo Hoo!

There are still products to add... It is an online gallery...

hiya Nik,

Love your site, it's very pretty and handles well for your type of products and such. One thing I would suggest though is that you take a gander at the CSS styling that is needed on your site. You've done it pretty much starting out with HTML5 which is very new and not totally supported on all browsers yet, but that should be ok for the most part. The problem is that you then went back to old code that is pretty much obsolete such as the <font></font> tags. You can go to http://w3schools.com to see what tags are deprecated (obsolete, they still work, but eventually they won't and with the HTML5 setup you really should be using HTML5 style of code as well as using CSS.

Lovely job though, I would just clean up the old code and create a CSS file for your styling and you should be all set to go. This would be on the external pages or the extra pages you created such as the home page. The shop should be fine unless you added code to that too, then you'll want to take a look at that code to see if any is outdated also.

Great job on the design though, and good luck on the sales :)

Nik,

My thoughts on first seeing the site (perhaps as a customer).
I for one find inline frames with scrollbars annoying. I would use another method to achieve the same effect such as a slideshow, etc. Also, the header image is very grainy and can use some work.
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!

Hey. Who has a shop online in Belgium or in another country of the EU ?
I have some legal consernes when I try to make a shop.

2 problems come to mind: Who has a sollution?

1. Show prices tax included:
Over here, if you sell anything to the general public, you have to always show prices taxes included.
Not just at check out. So if you are browsing the shop, all prices you see must be tax included.
It seems impossible to me. I have opened a support ticket and they confirmed that this is not possible in SCC Pro.
If I'm correct, you may show prices without taxes only if you are sure your customer is a commercial customer and he has a VAT number.

2. Add taxes or not:
Over here, if you have a commercial customer with VAT number, you don't have to add VAT.
If you customer in non-commercial or has no valid VAT number, you must add VAT.
This also seems impossible to me. Support tells me that this is indeed impossible.

Regardless of these 2 problems, support tells me that there are several online shops, created with SCC and SCC Pro, in the EU. I would like to see those shops. So please let me now if you have one online and how did you solve these problem??

I have the beginnings of another shop to add... this is the "sister" site of the other one I posted recently, but with a much younger feel about it. The front page is still in the makings but I have not quite decided what to add in there using some of the other cc applications.

Some Italian incorporated and am not certain if I want it all in Italian... possibly not, but that is another issue I need to think through.

For the time being I have left taxes included in my prices. I think you might have to use a contact form for those with VAT to contact you as I don't quite see how you can get around this otherwise.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
