Looking for a simple way of replacing several Outlook forms which send an e-mail to particular inboxes and also update/replace web-forms which send e-mails and/or update databases in SQL.

Some of the web forms integrate with Active Directory and recognise who is submitting the form, entering information into the form automatically (such as name, email, job title) , whilst its planned that some forms would be for external users to complete and the internal admins would then download the results to work with.

Does the form builder available through this site allow for this to happen? And how easy / difficult to a relative novice would this be?

WFB will collect the data you tell it to collect. It can store that data in a CSV file on your server (that your admins can then access) or it can store it to a mysql file on your server (that your admis can access). In addition to this, information about the submitter can be sent to MailChimp to produce a list. From MailChimp you can create custom emails that can be sent to specific users or your entire list of customers. Creating a MailChimp account is free unless you go over a particular level of use. You'd have to check with MailChimp to see exactly what the parameters are.

It is a very versatile program. There are also many users here that help you code custom options if you need them.

Sorry for leading you astray Marc with my emails how to use the forum, I honestly didn't know that you had to make a purchase before being able to use the forum, I bought the HTML editor years ago and loved it, still do. The Web Form builder although I haven't bought it yet, looks good.
