The HTML editor no longer supports visual design mode. You could take a look at VSD.

Does this mean I bought HTML editor for nothing?

Not at all. As you become more familiar with VSD and get involved in more complex design needs the HTML editor will be there to help you through the task. It has a few new features that does give it an instant design preview mode making it a snap to see your changes. If you start looking at adding JQuery affects to your pages the editor will be a huge asset in testing your scripts to insure VSD integration.:)

The more you use VSD, the more you may come to appreciate the HTML Editor.
No WYSIWYG program can do it all, but if you have the Editor, you can use it to add all sorts of customised code into your VSD sites. And before you know it... you might just want to create a site with it instead of VSD. It's good to have options ;)

I want to add pages to my vds site. Is there a way to do it and keep the name and button from the home page without having to copy paste them to every page?

Hi Karen, one way you will be able to do that is using PHP Includes but I wouldn't suggest that because it is not good for SEO. I would copy and paste to every page.

I would create your main page and call it 'template'. Put your main info, menu or whatever on it. Then when you create a new vsd page, choose to 'duplicate' a page and select 'template'. Works great!.
