Are torrent sites used for anything that is legal? Non-copyright offending torrent sites? I have never seen one personally.

Look at Limewire, They got trod on. Allowing the sharing of intellectual property is a crime and most countries try to convict those that do. The Torrent sites have very clever systems to hide where the material is stored. but they do get caught with very stiff penalties.

I would avoid it like the plague, Google finds the site passes the IP address to the FBI or AFP in our case and you will be a guest of the establishment. Your IP is unique and traceable, There are ways to hide it a bit but there is a path that can be found.

If you want to coin some legal cash then become an affiliate and create good sites, Advertising pays well. Google Adsence, Adbrite, Even Coffee Cup wants affiliates. Works for me. My goal. If one site pays $2/week how much does 1000 sites pay. A Irish mate of mine has just put up his 1500 th site, We share traffic. I only have 20 sites now but working on it. VSD is the answer, time the investment. I can now even get forms up faster now with WFB and its accomplish. I come here for a break in programming and site building. I have set a rate of two new sites a week. About 20 sites per host. There are a lot of hosts and yes become an affiliate of your host. Doesn't cost much to create a page for the hosts site.

Why am I telling, easy, If one has the commitment then they do it. not many have that commitment.
