Responsive Site Designer Program?

Kind regards and greetings to all. A few of questions from a novice and "non-coder" about the highly anticipated Responsive Site Designer Program.

1.) Will RSD have a global type master page, border or block?
2.) Could you create a page to fit any screen, that would reduce or enlarge all "objects" in proportion? (No break points, just fluid.)
3.) Any rough estimate about a timeline on release? (3-6-9 months, this year?)
4.) A wide range/estimate about the purchase price of RSD.
5.) Will you be offering a "super bundle" with RSD? (For the many of us coming to CC from other programs. Understood all the add-ins will work with RSD. Yes?)

Thanks a lot!
Donald

(I've visited the CC forums almost on a daily basis for the last couple of months. The user base and staff are knowledgeable, kind, helpful, informative and prompt. Coffee Cup has many great aspects going for it besides the forum as: based here in the US and not the EU or Canada. Always working to revise and update programs. Fixing bugs in a timely manner and up to date with HTML5 and CSS. Also having a base program VSD-RSD without having every app including the kitchen sink built in, making for less bloat and easier to revise and fix. The end user just adds in what they need, super! Once again, kind regards to all of you and your families.)

Not much information has been 'leaked' yet.

Just wanted to say 'hi' and let you know that this is a user to user forum. CoffeeCup personnel do drop in and monitor the forums but it may take a day or two to get your answers. Don't expect much, as I said, they are playing it close to the vest right now.

All I know is that it's suppose to be a 'site designer' for non-coders (I hope). That it will 'probably' be out in the next couple of months. I've heard everything from a few weeks to several months. I know there are several planned updates to other 'responsive' programs that have been released, such as the 'Button Builder' and 'Menu Builder' programs. The the new site designer will work with the other new responsive programs that have been released. That minor upgrades will still be free but major version changes will cost an upgrade fee (to be specified later). That's it.

You can also count on the best support anywhere. That from CoffeeCup. Outstanding support from forum members that include some really good 'coders' that can clue you in on things that may not work 'exactly' how you want them to.

So, if you are a hard non-coder (such as myself) hang in there, the new site designer is on it's way. Sometime.

It's the 'wink-wink' that goes along with the 'soon' that keeps me worried! :D

I think it's Scott's favorite word that there is always another tomorrow if not a week or two.

I am hearing that VERY SOON since late 2013 and now we are in 2014

Have look at following link if you think I am wrong:

Ok getting faster at setting up a layout. Just did this for one of my clients. Its getting easier the more I use it.

I have one more level to add... I think Im going to change to all buttons when it gets to mobile level... but pretty good start. Took me about 10 minutes to through this layout together.

If you do it quickly make sure to do it correctly. :P Not saying the way you did it is wrong, but do not forget about changing the tag type to something more semantic and also make sure you are naming classes as close to what they are used for as possible. This way down the road it is easier to edit vs having to add the classes yourself.

Keeping your file structure and class structure fluid is also as important as responsiveness. :)

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
