The free version is a text editor whereas the paid version is WYSIWYG editor. WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) version provides you the live preview of your site. ... Paid version of CoffeeCup HTML editor include Tag Library, HTML & CSS Validation, Suggestive Code Completion etc. Spam URL deleted

What you are writing is not correct, Chris. They are both text and code editors. Here is a comparison table:

Both the free and what is described as the 'almost free' CoffeeCup HTML Editors are available from this page. That page also gives a comparison of the two.

Why not just try the free edition and see whether it suits your needs?

This shows the differences. The free version has a number of days restriction on some features.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

This is a site I built for my work.(RSD)
This is a site I built for use in my job.(HTML Editor)
