Greetings,

I run a small specialty shop that began with an e-commerce site. I wasn't in business long before I realized that having a selling site and a physical store was going to be two full-time jobs and I closed the e-commerce portion of my site.

This was nearly 10 years ago, and a lot has changed. The store is doing very well, and we have quite a following, many of whom don't live here and want to order online. I feel that this would be a good step, but I don't have the time or the inclination to code my own html like I did before.

I used Front Page for awhile, but apparently that software doesn't even exist any more, that's how behind I am :/

My site is actually quite simple and I'd like to keep it that way. I'd like to just link to PayPal for payments as I've worked with them all this time with no problems. I thought about going the GoDaddy route, but I like having my site housed at my local provider.

I like what I've read about the Coffee Cup HTML editors, but then it appeared there was more than one. If anyone in this community could suggest the editor that would be best for my and my situation, I'd love your input! If I read the list wrong and their is actually only one editor, I'll feel silly, but let me know.

I hope it doesn't break any rules, but my site is here www.shaddowdomain.com if you would like to see it.

Thanks so much for any info!

I would recommend VSD for your website and SCDP&SCCP for your shop. VSD makes building websites a snap. SCCP is for your shop and already has several themes built into it but I would still recommend getting SCDP to do the design work. Take them for a spin and see what you think.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

I would agree with Eric. You would need Shopping Cart Creator Pro and Shopping Cart Designer Pro. Even though I hate to say it because I am a coder... You best bet for your website itself would be VSD. It takes no time to setup a site and is a WYSIWYG editor. So not coding needed.

Download the trial and test them out. There is always help here in the forums for any question you may have. :)

Both Shopping Cart Creator Pro and Shopping Cart Designer Pro are very easy to work with. I agree you should download them and test them out first to see if they suite your needs.

I personally don't think you really need a site outside of the shop unless you are planning to put the pictures you have on your own server instead of Photobucket. If you are happy for the most part with the main pages, then you can do everything you have on them right within Shopping Cart Creator Pro. You can create up to 5 pages (informational ones) within the program so if you want you can create Home, About Us (Info), combine the Contact and add the Map link to that page, Links and Fun pages, or combine the Links and Fun as they are pretty short pages. Pretty much everything you have can be done in SSC Pro so you probably wouldn't need VSD at all. You can use the Free version of the HTML Editor for any code things you may need to edit or check out.

Definitely be sure to get the Shopping Cart Designer Pro also so you can design the theme of your site with the most features too.

Hope you check them out, I think you'll find them quite adequate for your needs.

I agree, with Visual Site Designer, Shopping Cart Creator Pro and Shopping Cart Designer Pro you can create what you need and without needing to write a line of code.

In fact, as Jo Ann says, with SCCPro and a suitable theme alone you can achieve what you want as it allows for some custom pages.

It's also worth pointing out that the two shopping cart related apps combined cost $218 but for just $249 you can become the proud owner of the Total Pro Pack which gives you the two shopping cart apps and 5 other apps including Visual Site Designer.

Considering the lifetime upgrades and the great support, this is a mega deal.
See https://www.coffeecup.com/store/specials/totalpro/ and don't forget that fully functional trial versions of all software is available so you can try before you buy ;) See http://www.coffeecup.com/software/

Have fun creating your store with ease :)
