Help! My Header Paragraph won't do...

Hello, all! I am not a web designer, just having a go at my first website and that because we have to! We put a rush job out in a hurry with the help of friends and I have been working on it ever since. But I have a problem... I finally learned how to include the website logo in my stylesheet rather than putting it on every page (quite by accident), and although the H1 line containing the club name is sitting where I want it, on the right, for the life of me I cannot get the header paragraph to sit on the right underneath it! It either sits at the top on the left or in the centre. On the current site it is right where I want it to be. On my rebuild I have asked it to display inline, float right, but it just ignores me. If I try to pad out the image in css the entire header disappears. I have included the CSS and HTML (taken out the photo slideshow!) - does anyone have any ideas? I am sure it is something so silly I am missing it! I am hoping to get this version out for 2015. Thanks in advance, folks. Chris

I'm not a coder but one should be along soon! Hang in there ...

In the meantime, do you have a link to the site where the header is not displayed correct? A link will help us identify what may be causing the problem.

Yes, please let us see the site in question. If you have a current site and are working on one to replace it, then create a folder on your site, call it 'test' or whatever, and upload the new site there. That way it won't interfere with the active site.

Hi Christine,

I'm pretty sure that this is a css problem. As others have mentioned already a link to the site would help us determine and find a solution to the issue much more efficiently.

Not yet, Steve - the one I'm having the problem with isn't live yet, which is why I included the text file. The active site is www.southeasterndog.coffeecup.com and on there it is displaying just how I want it to! I didn't want to have to keep adjusting the header on each page, hence putting the image in the stylesheet.
Thanks for trying to help; looking forward to your response! :)

Hello Steve and Hello Inger - right, I have uploaded the one I am working on (index.html only) complete with pictures, etc., so you can see what is happening with it. The whole thing is stored in a file called Test under southeasterndog.coffeecup.com - is that okay?

Chris, is this the line of text you're having trouble with?

It's right-aligned for me, see screenshot. If I were you, I think I would have made the text a wee bit larger...
