Can I bring my domain from Godaddy.com and convert it to your website program? Can I do the same with another website I have in Websitebuilder.com?

Hiya elquesabe1,

You'll need to be more specific on what program you're talking about using to convert your site. None of the software other than the HTML Editor can import already completed websites, you would have to start from scratch pretty much with anything you wanted to use here. If you're a coder and able to edit and create your own code then you could use the HTML Editor to work on your current website.

As for the websitebuilder.com site it would depend on whether or not you can export or download the entire site in order to use the HTML Editor to edit it or not.

Other than that, in order to use any of the software to work on your site that would give you the ability to do more visual based site building and editing, then you'd want to use the new Responsive Site Designer and with that you would need to start from scratch to redo your website.

Hello elquesabe1,

I have had experience with both of these platforms you speak of. The quick answer is no you will not be able to covert what you currently have to work with Responsive Site Designer or HTML Editor.

When you use website builders such as these it gives you the ability to create nice looking websites however in the fine print of your terms and conditions they will not let you take any part of the actual website with you when you leave. They usually will back up any content and images you have and send them to you but as for the actual website it stays with them.

My suggestion would be to use Responsive Site Designer to rebuild your website. You can imitate the look of your current website and in many ways you can make it even better than what you have. Coffeecup offers a free trial you can download here http://www.coffeecup.com/designer/

There are many tutorials you can look at to help you along the way. If you get stuck you can always pop in here and ask a question. Here are the links to the tutorials:
