The best one is this, I think: https://www.w3schools.com/css/css3_flexbox.asp

After posting I went and did a search and found a tutorial that helped me get what I needed. Here's the site on my test domain: http://mytestblog.net/catfish/

Let me know if you both think this looks OK. I am waiting to hear back from the owner.

The way you have done it looks fine. I could give you some hints on improving the images, if you are interested.

Sure, hints are always good. I didn't take the pictures, they were taken on a phone.

There's to much glare but the composition is good for the way the restaurant looks inside.

It's been a long day so I will check back tomorrow. Thanks Inger.

Take a look at this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/87dnomovtr6cl … h.zip?dl=0

I have reduced the glare as much as possible without destroying anything else. I took the images up in Lightroom and added contrast, reduced highlight and shadow, also added clarity, vibrance and dehaze. That's about it. What do you think?

I forgot all about having Lightroom. Thanks for the help.
They look a lot better but the last word will be the 'Boss' if you know what I mean.

Good night,
Ernie

The 'Boss' said WOW when she saw her site. I guess that means she liked it. Thanks for touching up the pictures Inger.

I’ve looked at this and the mist was lifted from my eyes to an extent. My one overriding problem wasn’t resolved which is in an container with ‘spare’ items in the last row how I make them centred. In the example of 12 items imagine this become 11 items. I need items 10 and 11 to be centred on the row aligned to the middle. But at a different breakpoint maybe only one of them needs to be centred.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
