Hey guys,

Anyone know of a good free (or cheap) software/website that allows for giving online presentations? For example I want to be able to give like a powerpoint type slideshow to folks on the other end of the web, but I don't just wan them to be able to access the file, I want to control the slides as I am talking to them, just like if I was actually sitting next to them in real life. Any ideas? Anyone?

I guess it all depends on whether it is live. I have made video's of scenes with spoken explanations fixed images, overlays of text, transitions etc. The presentation is almost lifelike. But obviously without interaction. You control the play of video slides or explanation as the presentation progresses.
I used a Pinnacle product but Movie Maker could do it for you and you convert to the media for the audience you wish to address. Video camera/phone, microphone and you have it. If you intend to do it live well that is another kettle of fish and I am out of water there.

As an after thought have a look at some of the painting tutorials where the artist explains and demonstrates. May give you some tips
