Thanks for the notice Wayan.

It would certainly be nice if someone there updated the Change Log at the same time of a new release like most other software developers. I see that the last update was 2 months ago.

it was on 2nd of this month unless you meant the change logs.

And the helpful hints about image type size etc.

Where do you see those hints Wayan? I was looking today, not that I need them but interesting none the less.

The hints Wayan mentions can be seen when you open the Resources. They appear as 'Handy info', and when you select e.g. an image, you will see the file name, dimensions, file size etc.

Yes, I did mean the Change Log. It is kind of useless to update versions without letting someone know what new/improved features are in the new version :) Thanks for pointing out the Hint on the images, very useful indeed and much appreciated.

I think some of the following may have been mentioned elsewhere in these forums, and that they are all new -
1. the ability to sort into various orders the contents of the Project Resources box (top right of the box);
2. inserting Pictures and Picture Links into the canvas directly from Project Resources via the right-click menu or the small buttons at the bottom left of the box;
3. creating HTML files in the Project Resources box using the right-click menu;
4. correction of the link to video tutorials in the Help Dialog.

Be aware
If you add an image to whatever folder you have for images,

The image you bring in however you bring it in (drag & drop / "Add Files" doesn't remain "active" so to thento actually insert it into the canvas you have to re-select it, if you don't notice that the wrong image will go into the canvas,

Previously if you did it that way, the image remained active so you just simply pressed the ("select") button.

not a terribly big issue but a bit inconvenient if you don't notice that,, I have informed the CC gurus to see if it's something they can fix.

Wayan, what you have observed, that you need to reselect an image to get it into the canvas using those wee buttons;
I tried it, and I think the problem has to do with the sorting of the resources. The default way of sorting is alphabetical a-z. If I add some images in that order, it works, you only select an image once. But if I add images in any other order, the last image alphabetically will be inserted if you don't reselect.
I wonder what would be the best solution here; have a sorting option 'according to sequence' or an option not to sort at all, or what...

a solution that keeps the selection that one makes when inserting a file then sorts it after it's been inserted, mind you there is also another way and that is dropping an image from outside directly into where you want it to be.
