I am curious, I got this email about COMPONENTS. I don't know where I MIGHT use one or two. I tried following the regular Site Designer build 5.0 3470..... But there isn't one, well almost! Heading level 2

I figure this is to put an item or article on the first page, with a CLICK to another page that can be viewed from other forms other than a computer. Now I believe a computer should always be use when BUYING something because I can't actually see on my Phone ! sooo just to get that out there.
A component is one article or object with all its features. with a price is necessary.

just asking about FREE COMPONENTS!

You might like to try Inger's website https://mock-up.coffeecup.com/ which has quite a lot of components for Site Designer 5 and they're all free. You can even see them displayed on that website before you decide which ones you may want to download.

Tony, In the program itself there are many components that come with the installation. They are the free ones from Coffeecup.

I for one don't actually understand the question being asked (not exactly 100% at the moment, but still confused)

my wife uses her phone everyday to buy something

There are several free components included with Site Designer.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Well I've found the included components but am having a couple of issues when using them - the "Image Gallery - Sombre" for instance was just what I wanted so I added it to the project then inserted it on a page - all good so far. The component seems determined to stick to the left side of the page... I'd like it to centre itself. Simple....

I've gone to the element inspector, selected the gallery-wrapper, Gone to Styles -> layout and changed so many settings one at a time - no change still hugs the left of the screen.

I did think I'd come back to that so started looking at changing the images to my own - no luck here either.

I'm sure it's me but seems like this component is only of use if:
(a) I'm wanting something with exactly 6 food based images and for it to hug the left side of the screen
(b) I'm willing to export the project then delve into the exported html/css and tinker in detail.

The components also appear to leave huge margins above & below some of them (I paid for the mosaic ones that looked good) and I cannot find what I need to change to reduce these margins. It's no good producing a tool for non-code people if adjusting the parameters in the screens is so cryptic that it would be easier to find settings in code.

I know I moan a lot but it's only because I find the product so very nearly perfect for me which makes "small" things like this that ruin my "creative flow" extremely frustrating.

That is one of the most difficult elements I have ever come across to work with.
I just make my own now much easier and controlled
I think Inger has a component similar to that one on her site, if not I could do a how to video thing if you would prefer but not until tomorrow Indonesia time

The gallery can be centered by setting the left and right margins of the gallery-wrapper to 'auto'.

The easiest way to add more images would be to duplicate the 'thumbnail-cont.button' as many times as needed, and then change the images.

Here is an example:

Was this the component you were thinking of, Wayan?

In the post above I first tried to attach the component, but somehow that didn't work, and I was not able to get rid of the word 'Attachment'.
