Hi all. If you're like me you're loving the new RSD2 features including the Out of View option.

I'm wondering if this feature could be improved if it only executed once (per page load). Seeing the animations again and again as you scroll up and down feels a little overworked to me. I've seen similar display/animations on other major websites, and they only seem to load once as you scroll down.

Interested to know what does the wider RSD community thinks? I know this can be lodged under a suggestion.

Well I suppose they could turn it into a Pac-Man arcade game but the "out of view" is a nice simple companion for very subtle effects such as opacity changes, box shadows, and the new filters & blend modes.

Anything more advanced you might as well pick one of the many scroll effect plugins available to unleash your creative distractions. :D

I agree Bainn. I've been loving that feature as well, but that was my first thought when I used it, that I wish it only executed once.

I logged this as a consideration for a next update. Thanks for the suggestion and support

Excellent Bob! I love adding animations to websites. It helps take away the from the standard bootstrap look.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is Out of View, what can it do and how do you use it? I've seen the reference to outofview.js in the exported files but not sure what its abut.

Is there any resource that will help (hve looked but couldnt find anything)

TIA

In the Style section of the Design panel is the State drop-down menu, which defaults to Regular, and where one can choose Hover etc. In that drop-down menu one can now choose 'Out of View'.

There is some information about this at Section 4.2.5 of the RSD User Guide

An absolutely basic use of this is illustrated in my post here.
