Is it just me...

I have a pretty large site, 80 pages or so and I've come across something that I've been meaning to suggest to Bob and the Gang if anyone else thought it worthwhile.

I find it is way too easy to set a new breakpoint by clicking on the breakpoint line accidentally. Normally on a small site this isn't too much of a pain but on a larger site it sometimes takes over a minute to see the breakpoint removed after clicking on the minus button. I think it would be better to have to press the Command (or whatever is equivalent on Windows) while clicking on the breakpoint line. I seldom ever add any new breakpoints in Foundation so I find myself looking up and sometimes seeing a new breakpoint that I didn't intend to have. Its even more of a problem if you have set extra breakpoints and you find a new one close by.

Any thoughts?

I agree with you. Not only is it way to easy to create a breakpoint by accident, it is also equally too easy to move a breakpoint out of the intended position by accident.
Like you, I don't create new bp's very often, but it happens that an unwanted one has been created for me, so to speak.

I heartily agree the problem.

It seems possible that using Ctrl or Command while clicking of the breakpoint line might lead some slightly to move the intended breakpoint as they did it. I wonder whether perhaps a keyboard shortcut which led to a confirmation box ("Create breakpoint at xxx? - yes no") might be more positive.

Fully with on everyone for that, especially Franks Suggestion about getting a pop-up message something like
"DID YOU REALLY WANT ADD THAT BREAKPOINT"
They gave us something for moving breakpoints (pop-up message) so why not for adding

& while we are at it how about something similar for the "Delete" Icon (wherever it is that you hit it from)" I often find myself deleting something when I didn't actually mean to, (my fault totally I know, but again far too easy to mistakenly hit the wrong one, especially after a long day at the PC

+100 on that Delete problem! I have reported that one long time ago, saying, among other things, that if an element is positioned like top right or left, it is hardly possible to hit the actual element for that popup with the delete and duplicate options.

Totally agree on the "delete" icon too! The above are small things that would make it so much easier to keep things as you want them. Really like Frank's idea about a confirmation box.

Anything that will prevent us from accidentally ruin our projects! Some two years ago I also asked for a way to lock elements in place. Just today when working on something I accidentally moved a container out of position. It happened in the element tree pane, I clicked on some element, and unfortunately my cursor movement came a wee bit from below. Before I knew it, I had pushed that container up to the level above.

As long as we're putting together a wish list, wouldn't be nice to fix the issue of dragging items in the element tree! I like your Inger's idea of locking something but I would also like it easier to rearrange items in the element tree. It is very difficult at this time to put things in the exact order you need them once you start moving things around.

Sorry I don't follow that I move things around in the element tree constantly never a problem and easy as pie. What seems to be the problem there that you experience
