Suggestions for Shopping Cart Creator...

I have a few questions/suggestions.

Will there be the ability to make coupons?
Will there be a method to make a direct order button (OrderAnywhere) that you can place anywhere (like in an email or directly on a page in something like WordPress)?
Will there be the ability to make and track affiliates?

Thanks,
Peter

Carriage Paid/Free Shipping

My company offers free Shipping (UK Only) if they spend over a set amount of money. This would be a very useful inclusion if the Coffeecup team can make this happen.

Thanks

'ON ACCOUNT' CUSTOMERS

Many of my customers buy from me monthly and would like to submit their order via my online shop, but be invoiced when the items arrive. If there was an option for them to put their account number on the Order and submit it for processing without having to pay for it there and then, that would be very useful too.

Thanks
Andrew

Hi Andrew. At the moment there is no provision for customers to enter text into the program. However many users selling personalised items have also indicated the need for customers to enter some details, so it may become a feature in a later version.

Whilst there are some limitations on what information can be passed to PayPal and Google Checkout, having a single line text entry would certainly be of benefit to many sellers. Infinitely better than having to chase the customer up for that information afterwards.

The option to list products in multiple categories would be good. I tried to copy & paste a product & changed the SKU number to the same in both but got a warning message pop up.

I agree fully here as many times a product will fit in more than one category. Used to be we could have it listed in more than one by just copying it, course that created a completely different product so you had to watch out if that were 1 of a kind sales lol. But... with pro version utilizing the SKU numbers and not allowing duplicates, what about this?

It would be cool if it were a radio button that we could have default to only 1 category and another option for multiple categories.
If we choose the multiple it would then activate a drop down box or checkbox setup that we could then choose all the categories we'd want that product in so it just 'shows' there rather than being 'another' product.
This of course leading both to the same product details page rather than separate ones.
Hope that makes sense to the dev team :)

Cross Selling is definitely a feature you will find in a future update of SCC Pro. We just had to start with the basic features to get the software out otherwise the software would not have been ready until 2012. ;)
