Hi there!

I've created a form using Form Designer and connected it to Google Forms (I followed the instructions here: https://medium.com/@weldebob/google-for … 04765f1b8c) Do I need an S-Drive account for this, if this is the only thing that I'm doing? (Not using any other CC software, only Form Designer.)

If not, how do I cancel my S-Drive plan? I'm currently on the Webbie plan, and, somehow, I can't see to figure that out (I'm sure it's staring me straight in the face--I only see upgrade options.) Thanks so much in advance!

Hi Sandra,
You don't need an S-Drive account, but you do need a host for your form.
Can you share a link to your form so we can see how it's setup?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Hi, Eric. Thanks for your reply!
Here is what I've done in Form Designer: https://lapresidencysurvey.coffeecup.co … /form.html
(I'm not sure if it makes any difference, but this is the Google form I've connected to: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIp … A/viewform)
I'm also hoping to use new Google sites and then include a link to the survey?
I'm a student who knows next to nothing (okay, it's nothing) about all of this, and I'm on a shoestring budget--but I'm reading what I can and doing my best to learn! Thanks! :)

I just tested your form and it seemed to submit to your Google site. Can you describe what your looking for help on?

Sure thing. I wanted to doublecheck that I do not need a (paid) S-drive account in order to publish my form, since I’ve connected it to Google forms. And, if I don’t need an S-drive account, how do I cancel my current Webbie account? I am able to click through to “My Plan,” in my profile, but I am only seeing options to upgrade. Thanks!

Open a support topic and a CC employee should be able to help you with canceling the Webbie Account.

Do you have hosting somewhere else?

Thanks for that. Would I be able use Google Drive (new Google sites or cloud storage) or Dropbox (have access to a standard or advanced plan) or Github by any chance? As a complete aside, I will probably use my own domain.

Your own domain would probably be great as long as it's running PHP 5.3 or above.

Gotcha. One last (I hope!) question: is this form a static website?

Yes it is It can be it's own stand alone page or you can use the iframe code to embed it in another webpage. You could also
copy the html and scripts and paste them into a page.
