Suggestions for CoffeeCup Layout...

Hi guys! I'm passionate about the responsive layouts, but I think that we should start and think about a new generation of responsiveness. I mean, now a responsive layout changes depending on the user devices. Great, but the functions of the user interface remains the same. On the contrary, the user intent is often different when they access a website from a desktop and when they access it from a smartphone. So I think that we should be able to change also the functions of the user interface depending on the user devices, not only the layout! Now this is done switching the access between different websites: one for desktops and another for mobile devices. It would be great if that will become part of the responsiveness concept! What do you think about? :)

That sounds like what we did before 'responsive' websites. Make 2 or 3 differnt sites and jump between depending on the device.

The purpose of a 'responsive' website is that it will adapt to any device that accesses it. No need for multiple websites.

Or am I wrong again ??

Right, Gunsmoke. I mean exactly that. Not different sites between which jumping, but just one site able to change its own graphical and functional user interface depending on the device.

I'm already doing this.;) It still falls into the layout really. It's there for one screen size and not the other.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Why?
Taking over the world one website at a time!

I like that!
It would be consistent with the fact that we define rules and properties for regions - or ranges - between break points, not for the break points themselves.

Yeah its better for organising to define which region we are, such as mobile, tablet, desktop or etc.
the idea is as soon as we add break points it's indicates with different colours so we have clear view visually in which region we are. Thank you.

Ability to select the elements on working space and change the element properties in same category .
For example after drag and drop of Headings 1 I change my mind and want to be able just change from heading 1 to heading 3 without deleting and drag and drop again.
