Hi
Recently bought the above. Not finding it very friendly to learn. Would appreciate videos in more detail and not with music but with voice over tutorial application and the videos are too fast. The help manual is to say the least hard to follow and...well sorry lads.......crap. I recently bought some new web software and the tutorials were extensive and visually and verbally applied. They were all fairly short but well explained and easy to follow. I think you need to provide tutorials which takes you from how to start and follow through with some examples. Also perhaps provide a more extensive and clear pdf manual on how to use the app. For such a relatively simple, but very good app I might add, I think you have not made it easy for anyone to use. Sorry for the rant but I don't have a lot of time to spend on trying to learn something which should only take a very short time to get to grips with. There are so many apps about now but I think sometimes developers forget about the end user. You have a very good app though but It's frustrating me to hell how long it's taking to understand it.

Hi Brian,

There are several great tutorials out there check some of these out:

I also have a few tutorials of my own on my youtube channel please check them out in my signature.

Once you have gone through this content I am positive you will have a much better idea how to use the software. If there is something else you would like to see please let me know. If I can squeeze out some spare time I will try my best to get one done.

Hi Steve
Ok I give up, I've looked at the sample templates and tried to di-sect them to see how they have been put together but still can't figure out how this app fully works. The UI really is not that friendly. I have followed your advice but I don't see any video's which covers how to master Responsive Content Slider. What's badly needed here are videos which talks you through how the samples were put together like most other apps tend to provide, once I see something I usually get it. For example, how was the sample template "Present Animated" created. I use a lot of complex design software, from page layout/ illustration, image creation and 3D creation etc so I'm usually quite quick at figuring things out, but this is proving to be harder than it should be considering that the app is supposed to be a simple drag and drop application. Tell you what, if you can't provide video's right now, at least just give me a pdf, blow by blow of how you constructed the slideshow which I've mentioned here, that would be a big help. Your current manual you say to refer to only gives an overview but doesn't actually provide any useful in depth instruction. By the way, what is a hero Unit??
Sorry my friend to have yet another rant but I get really frustrated when an app is launched which is purported to be easy to use, which nothing of the kind, without any real supporting video's or in-depth pdf instruction manual which takes you through the UI usage. Can you provide something please.

Hi Inger
Yes I have read this article but it's precisely what it is, an article giving an over view of what's possible with the app. It's not an instruction manual which I think this particular app needs. This app is supposed to be a fairly simple drag and drop process but is anything but. You do need to follow very precise ordered procedures in order to create the sort of samples which coffeecup say is possible. It shouts to me that this app needs an in depth manual which walks you through the processes to create the sort of responsive sliders shown as samples. Like anything else once you see the process in action things get very much more clear.

You are right, Brian. I hadn't read that article thoroughly myself, I just found it under Help in the Programme. There is really a need for a step by step tutorial. I'll bend the developers' ears about it ... ;)

Great to have your support on this issue Inger. I wonder how many others might feel the same. Hopefully the developers will take this on board and be forthcoming with a comprehensive user manual and better still, create some meaningful video's showing how they created the examples.

If you take a look at the last link for RSD, that Steven provided in a post above here, I have suggested that they create something similar for RCS. The reply was, that it will come eventually, but they are having their hands full with the upcoming version of RSD at the time being.

I purchased Responsive Content Slider to go with Responsive Site Designer. However, having already mastered Responsive Site Designer with the help of extensive online videos and webpages, Responsive Content Slider is the complete opposite. No detailed manual and only a few brief support videos. Come on guys, I'm struggling to achieve anything in Responsive Content Slider :(

I would like to include some Responsive Content Slider' slides in my website when I can get my head around the application... :|
