Anyone have this happen??
If i have html editor open i have the split screen open and the default browser open to the preview - then i click a photo to adjust in Photoshop CS5...i get a crash - not all the time but it happens.
I use:
the latest CC versions
default is Chrome (latest version)
Desktop is win 7 (64 bit) i&-2600K Cpu - drivers all current
3.4GHz - 8GM Ram
I preview using Chrome, Foxfire, Explore and Safari (a lot of times i have all 4 in preview)
Yes I know i'm asking for a lot ... but you get busy programming and you just forget to close previews screens.....
anyone else???
thanks

Sounds like the process can not handle the request.

Or the request can't handle the process.

Hi Liza,
I've tried replicating this here, however I'm running CS6 of Photoshop, so not exact situation! No matter how I try to launch it within HTML Editor or directly, it works fine and CC HTML Editor remains running and happy.
It may be a processor or RAM issue as SirAGE suggests. Photoshop CS5/CS6 can be a shock to the system for many processors! Maybe in launching, it's causing an issue since it's so resource hungry.
After Photoshop launches and is ready to use, does CC HTML Editor recover, or does the crash result in a hung process that you have to kill & restart?

1st sorry i didn't get back to you right away.
It kills CC editor and i loose what i have done.
It's a new desktop: win 7 (64 bit) i7-2600K Cpu - 3.4GHz - 8GM Ram
I'm just making sure i do a save before i go into Photoshop and am doing more saves in CC editor as I work and if i'm tweaking something and have a lot of previews open (chrome, foxfire, safari, opera) i close them all before i make any Photoshop changes. Seems to prevent the crash.
If it's just me having this issue i can live with it...Adobe is a huge RAM drain.
I thank everybody for all their help.

Hi Liza,
Since it's a new PC, maybe you should do an uninstall and reinstall of CC HTML Editor. With a new machine, you may have installed software such as your CC suite and Adobe products and several others in a short period without a reboot.
While a reboot is no longer insisted upon by many applications following an install, it can never do any harm and you never know what a big application like Photoshop might have installed resource-wise that might conflict with or replace something that other software depends upon.
To make sure your registry is right and that HTML Editor is installed perfectly, if I was in your situation, I would uninstall CC HTML Editor, reboot the machine and then reinstall it, making sure you are using version 12.7 build 454 ( https://www.coffeecup.com/help/myproducts )
At least then you know that it is a fresh install and since it's a rock solid version, the issue will either be resolved or be found to be the result of some other problem with either the Adobe installation or another application.
Best of luck with it

When a computer loads a lot of applications do too, Have a look at all loaded apps that normally load and see which can be disabled. The computers page file system usually takes care of things. There are a lot that are not needed at boot up. What antivirus system do you use that can take over.
