I've set Microsoft Edge as an Additional Browser in the HTML Editor. When I select Edge to run the page I am working on it will not launch. All of my other Additional Browsers run just fine.
the path that I finally found for Edge and that I'm using in the Additional Browsers dialog box is:
C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\MicrosoftEdge.exe

Does anyone know why Edge will not run from Additional Browsers?
Thanks for your suggestions.

Hi Bo, To test in Edge you'll need to preview in another browser and copy the url that shows into Edge.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

One can set EdgeLaunch as an additional browser in The HTML Editor, as mentioned in this post. That launches Microsft Edge, and the effect is as if Microsoft Edge were itself in the list of Additional Browsers.

It will be interesting to see whether the rumoured Chromium-based version of Microsoft Edge will make the above work-around redundant.

OK! now, that little program EdgeLaunch works. I downloaded and installed EdgeLaunch and entered this path
C:\Program Files (x86)\Emmet Gray\EdgeLaunch\EdgeLaunch.exe
In the dialog for the Additional Browser and sure enough, Edge launched just as expected.

Thank you for all of your replies and suggestions.
(Now all I have to do is talk my customer out of using Edge for everything.)
