On the site I'm working with now, I needed to move contents between pages, and I found an easy way of doing it, which has saved me lots of time.

On the page that you want to move contents from, select the bits you want to move (a paragraph, column or a whole row), and make it into a component.

On the page you want to move it to, insert the component. You will need to click into the space where you want it to appear, or in case of a row, click the row before it.

Afterwards you can delete the content from the page where you don't need it. And if you don't need the component any more, delete that too.

It seems you can. But I've not been successful with it. You don't have the full control of where you paste it. If you paste it in a wrong place, it can be quite difficult to sort it, that is moving it in the inspector pane.

Thanks for the tip about using Symbols for moving items.

I agree that copying and pasting can be a bit tricky, but I had to do a lot of it in RSD, before RFF and RBB arrived with the Symbols facility. Experimenting led me to the conclusion that the best solution (before the arrival of Symbols) was to do both the copying and the pasting directly in the Inspector panel.

I actually recommended 'components', not 'symbols', but I guess that doesn't really matter which one you use.

Sorry. I had wrongly thought that Components were something far more esoteric and that Symbols had been meant as I had used them that way. I now see that, for transfer and simple copying, Components are better.

Thanks for the tip.
