Suzanne's change-log report quite rightly said of the Ultimate Unit Switcher, "Now this is huge ...". I expect to be using it a lot, and I guess others will as well, but they may share the following problem.

It may be my screen resolution (or perhaps old age and decrepitude), but I had some difficulty in reading the writing on the buttons. I even wondered what fpx was until closer scrutiny revealed it was "up-arrow px".

Could the writing on the buttons be bolder and darker please?

Thanks.
Frank

I haven't found a way to preserve the page names when exporting from RFF. Is there a way?

Example: let's say I create a new page and name it ThisCouldBeAnyPage.php, when I export the project the file is renamed thiscouldbeanypage.php.html

It's easy enough to rename the page once exported in file explorer and upload, but with multiple pages it gets tedious.

It would be nice to have the option to have the typefaces that are used in a FF document appear at the top of the list in the Font Menu. This would save a lot of time having to search or scroll down the list every time you create a new text element and need to format it. They would also appear in the main list but could be at the top with a divider before the main font list starts.

Or you could do what I and a couple of others do and that is create a style page before you get going,, that style page has all the fonts for text/paragraphs headers, etc etc, button links buttons borders backgrounds shadows and so on everything all with a unique class description such that once you get going and you need a paragraph for example with a particular font /other styles, you just simply give it the class name that you have already done.(or if you really know that is going to be the only font for a text (again for an example) then apply it to "type " rather than class, then whenever you choose a paragraph, it autonatically takes on the class styling.

It would be great to have an option to show padding and margin on any selected items with a transparent overlay color(s). Maybe let people turn it on or off in the 'guides' menu.

The ultimate unit switcher, while a great addition, should have the following default functionality:

When switching from another unit to percentage (%), the converted % should NOT allow greater then 100%.

When using any unit that uses real, the significant digits beyond the period should be no more then two as this is what is visible within the field width in the output fields.

Once you accomplish the impossible, then you can move on to the hard stuff!

I would like to be able to set the units for an element type and have it be sticky within the project. In other words, if I set it to % for a paragraph then drop another paragraph, the new object is also using % units. Might be cool to have a config page for a project where stuff like preferred default units could be initialized.

Give us the option to either 1/ turn off autosave (temporarily) or
2/ set the time intervals for when it does autosave (say max of 30 mins)

My reason for this is that often (in fact almost always) I play around with the layout/styles when I get near to the finished design and ready for exporting, sometimes more often than not this approach usually takes longer than the intervals between autosaves) but it may be that in the end I don't actually want to keep the changes that I have been playing with.

unless it is my app and there is something else wrong, what happens at the moment is if I decide NOT to keep the changes to the design, then I should be able to close the app and discard any changes I made, but this doesn't happen, because when I close it simply closes, no option to save or discard, then upon re-opening it opens with what looks like the deign which was saved with the last autosave. I have gotten around this by actually doing a back-up to the project before trying any design style changes, but is is a bit of a pain in the rear to keep remembering to do that, and especially with the number of different projects on the go every day.

Just a suggestion

Draggable widths and heights of columns and containers to create white space beside manually adding height and width or even padding and margin.
