Hello From Sunny Bali Again,
Ive got a design almost done, I would like to be able to add a full screen component to the design, but for the life of me cannot figure out how to add it.

If I go to the components tab thingy it says no components selected. when I expand " New Component" all it allows me to do is add a Picture for some reason, nothing else comes up.

Any ideas please

Did you select the element so that it was first highlighted in blue? If not, do that first and then under Components you click the New Component button. That will create a Component based on what was selected.

Hi Scott maybe im doing the wrong thing for what I am trying to achieve

I have a product page ( based for the moment on the template just while I sort of still learning)

there is a large image of the product with description price etc on the right, below this are some smaller thumbnails of other styles of the product. What I was after is if someone "Clicks on one of the thumbnails a larger image of that thumbnail opens up (same price sizes etc so only need see different colour/style) I thought that what we could do with a modal.

If I select the thumbnail image element then go to the components tab all it allows me to do is add another image as a component..

Am I trying to do something that isn't possible with something already sort of designed, or do I need start again and add this sort of stuff right at the beginning

I understand I would have to put some thing underneath the thumbnails (like text to say click to see larger image)so that visitors click on that rather than the image to get the modal

If I open new project from template there is one that is blank with components there is the full screen modal in all it's glory works a treat exactly as I was after.

Maybe the problem is that one cannot add all the components to a project that didn't have then included in the first place.

That would be correct. You would need to have started with the Blank with components theme. However, you can not add a component to an existing element, as components are themselves just elements, columns or rows.

What you would need to do here, is recreate the Modal component using the instructions here http://foundation.zurb.com/sites/docs/v … eveal.html

We are working on more detailed support documents at this time, but using the Foundation documentation will yield the same result.

It is in English, HTML and CSS. :P You can get it, just keep at it.
