Upgrade Grid Builder to SD 3 - Post...

I bought GB and was a backer of feature queries. The last news I have of GB is March 2018.

Will GB be supported and developed? There are comments that GB will be subsumed by SD V3
If so, How do I upgrade to SD 3? Do I need to pay more?

I think it would be best to ask this in the support room (My Support Room button here as the answer will probably relate to particular purchases that have been made (e.g. of RSD versions).

From what I understand is GB will continue to work on its own. SD3 is a totally different product that offers many more things than GB. I am not sure if CC will continue to grow GB but my thoughts are no as they are more than likely going to put all there time into SD3.

Think of it this way... We started with RLMP which was the bases for RSD. Two completely different products with one offering a whole lot more.

You can continue to use GB as it is full functional. If you choose you can purchase SD3 which has many many more options and more than likely will be improved on as time goes.

If your on the fence take the jump you won't regret it.

Hope this helps.

SD3 is CC's flagship product; therefore, it will always get updates first. Updates to GB, FF and BB always come later. My suggestion is to upgrade. Open a support ticket and ask CC about upgrading. (I don't work for CC. My recommendation is based on my experience with their products.)

Did you know that Web Form Builder can be used for both simple and complicated forms and that it's not limited to the default fonts and buttons? Take a look at a form we developed for WindowTinting.com.

I think, if you bought GB, then you should be able to get SD3 without paying again. At least it was like that when SD3 first came out. But ask the CC support, I'm not sure if it is still like that.

I had grid builder when sdv3 came out and they still charged me for sd3 but with a discount which I believe only lasted 1 week after that sd3 became full price

I had both RSD2 and GB and I got SD3 for free when it was released. The email(see screenshot) seems to suggest that you only needed GB to get SD3 for free.
