Hi, can you have a look at our site and let me know how to correct a few problems. When i read your help file, its a little confusing.
Website is www.zip4u.co.uk
Under the navigation menu Shop Products etc, you can see a grey section which seems to be creaping up on the border for the navigation menu. I need that realigned to the bottom of the border. Also, there also appears to be space both left and right of the main body of the home page which looks terrible, again can't work out how to change this spacing.
The What you see is what you get does not appear to show all these spaces and problems! You only get to see them when you preview in sccp.
Thanks

You'll need to make all of the adjustments you need within the Designer programs. It shouldn't be too difficult as all the settings are right there at your fingertips. Copy your shop theme file for a backup and then open the theme file in the Designer program and play around with the settings. That is truly the best way to learn how all the elements are shifted around, coloring etc.
Hint would be it's going to be a padding or margin in the Content area of the Shop Home page.
What theme are you using for this?

Jo Ann is spot on, these issues can be easily resolved in the designer.
Looks like a very edited version of the Starbit theme to me, Jo Ann:

I would suggest, leaving the original as is intact
Do a save as and re name (Zip4you-edits)
Work with the edited version, and play with the designer, you can't break it and you wont affect what you have done so far
once correct save it as a template design in your templates, and you can then import into the shop in a couple of clicks
I found this daunting at first, then used the above approach, in about a day i cracked it
One useful clue here, if you use something like VSD you could convert the whole top (header) into one image optimised for web, by creating an oblong block with the shapes tool, exactly the width of your header
then paste each picture image ontop, also your logo etc, preview it, and then curser over a blank section of the background and click on view image.
if it picks it all up (trial and error to get it maybe) save it, then optimise it for web
import that into SCC or SCCP or is it into the designer , can't remember which, but it will go in as the logo, and get rid of the fuzzy logo you have now, and probably load faster as well
