Without understanding or reading the language, which version is better? Left or right?

Prefer the left for the imagery but the right for the font and style

That really depends on what YOU like best.

Personally, I like the layout of the right image and the headline and image of the left one. Since I actually do understand the text, I think the left image and headline are more to the point. And since you have a free offer in the footer, you should keep that, and also the menu at the top if you have more than one page.

The colours are more or less the same on both images, but I think the left one, with the sudden background change to green, is a bit abrupt. The right image is more tied together colourwise.

It all depends on what your looking for. The one on the left seems to be like a temporary offer email where the one on the right would be a page on the web.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.
