Web Image Studio? - Post ID 237332
Hello so i am new to CoffeeCup, and all of there programs. I was wondering if Web Image Studio is a easy to use to create logos. Will i be able to easily use it or will i need tutorials?
Well, there is a learning curve with almost any program. WIS is fairly easy to use once you understand the program and it's features. It is more of an Image Editor than a Logo Creator. You'd probably do better to use a different program to 'create' your logo. Email me from the site in my signature and I can give you a suggestion.
That said, WIS can let you easily modify a logo. Change colors of individual elements and provide a variety of editing features. It will also let you re-size your pictures for the web. Very handy utility to have. Most of the graphics CoffeeCup now provides with it's various program come in a format designed for WIS so that you can easily edit them to suit your needs.
Best thing to do is download the program and give it a test run. All CoffeeCup Software comes with a fully functional free trial period (usually 7 days) so you can try it out yourself before making the purchase.

Hi, Alec. I'm also newbie on this forum. I can tell you this soft is really convenient. I use the trial version for 5 days and to date everithing is OK. I think it is one of the easiest program I ever used ( though I have to say I have considerable experience in web design and for me it could be easier to use WD). I used lots of tools, but the only comparable soft is *removed link to rival software company*
Its a very easy program to use Alec. I have been using it for a very long time! You can pretty much create anything you would create normally however the controls are a lot easier than a program like say Photoshop.

I agree Steve. It is a very handy utility. It functions very similar to one of the Adobe programs. I'm hoping to begin using it for image creation rather than just editing. Until then, it is still my first choice as a utility.
