Edited the text & decided i did not like the change
Went to click Edit | Undo but the Undo option was greyed out and unavailable.
Does anyone know why would this be?

Try using Ctrl + z. This is how I undo all my changes.

Sorry - VSD.
Just placed the cursor in some text, did two backspaces and no Edit | Undo available and ctrl +Z doesn't work either.

It works with full element additions. So if your pasted a image or a text box into the wrong spot it will work.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Not in the way that I think your looking for.
If I hit the backspace button twice to clear a mistake in a text box it's the same amount of key strokes to hit ctrl + z. I think it's actually faster because my finger can stay in one location using the backspace.
