Hello everyone,

I am currently running an ebay store selling tshirts and am getting tired of paying their fees so I want to strike out on my own .
CC software seems nice but I want to make sure which components will fit my needs.
I have no knowledge of html or coding.
I would like to set up a SIMPLE web page with shirts selling at various sizes & prices.
My main question is : Do I just need the shopping cart creator to accomplish this or do I need to get Visual Site creator as well and link the two? (not sure about how it all gets put together as well...)
Sorry asking to be spoon-fed answers but there are a lot of things here and I am a bit confused about what to get.

Hi Chris. You don't need both. You can get Visual Site Designer as well if you want, to have a more detailed Home page, and other static pages, but not really needed. There are other ways to include more static pages later on if you need to.

I would think a better choice would be the Shopping Cart Designer program. This allows you to customize your theme of your shop. My advice would be to try both programs in detail before purchasing, and I would also recommend the PRO versions of both products. There is an eCommerce pack that will save you money.

Yeah, a detailed home page is not really too high on my list. I just wasn't sure if it was required to have one or if I could use the Shopping cart itself as the page. I also like the idea of having a cohesive theme to my shop so it sounds like I should focus in on Cart designer...

Yes Chris, sounds like what you need. You will have 6 static pages with cart creator (either the normal version or PRO), so you will have a Home Page, which you can certainly put a fair bit of detail into as well - just not as flexible as Visual Site Designer, and then up to 5 more pages built in with the program. So you can have a contact, about etc pages.

Try them out, and yell out if you run into problems.
