Hi everyone,

I am new to CC and work on a Mac.

I have built 2 sites with a friend in website tonight with go daddy. We are looking to build another site but want the flexibility to bring in to any host. WT does not allow you to move from GD.

We are looking for something easy to use, my son has Dreamweaver, oh my, not an option!
We both have iWeb but it doesn't have enough options. We need email contact forms, tracking, photos, security etc. After looking through the CC website I thought this might be the answer.

I contacted support to try to find a direction. I was told that the trial versions are the way to start but VSD is not available to me as a Mac user, (Trial Version) I am not familiar with coding so I am a little hesitant to dive into Web Editor?
I am a pretty quick learner but don't have to much time, many hats!
Is this something that can be picked up quickly?
Any suggestions are welcome?

Thanks for the HELP!
Confused :/

I dont know anything about mac, and i guess most widows users are in the same position

VSD well if i can use it anyone can, just takes time to learn, its just a tool afterall

Buy a lathe, read the instructions, play with some scrap material, break a few cutters along the way, but if you have the aptitude you will manage to use it

I didn't have the ability to edit an image, nor did i know what ftp was, but i built my first website with VSD in about a week, it was total rubbish, but in my signature is what i learned over a period of about a year, whilst still doing my day job

Borrow a windows machine, and a trial of VSD see for yourself

I have enough problems in this universe yet alone a parallel one :)

is Barb likely to understand what parallels are Inger, because I don't ;)

I think that is a way that a Mac can use Windows programs. I wouldn't know how good the new Macs are but our schools use them. I guess it is like owning a cat, Why? I am a dog person.

I recently bought a Mac laptop (birthday pressie to myself), and am having some problems getting used to it. And I missed some of the CC programmes that I use, so in order to be able to use them, Parallels was the solution.
