I'n not an experienced web designer and am new to coffeecup. My website was created some years ago with Frontpage Express but disappeared when my server was taken over.
Thanks to coffeecup it is now back online and I am delighted.
However, I have a couple of midi files and I can't find out how to insert them into My Website. They are not vital, but I would like to use them.
If you can help me (in layman's language!) I would be very grateful.
So far coffeecup has been great, with superb support. Thank you.

Hiya Helen,

Can you tell us what program you are using please? And a link to your site would also be helpful so people can better help you place the code for this. It's not a hard thing to add, but it does depend on what program you are using. Some of us are more Code oriented and some are more Visual oriented so it will get your answers from the right people if we know more information :)

Hi Jo Ann,

My website is http://augustaladyllanover.coffeecup.com/ and I am using CoffeeCup Free HTML Editor. I have a little knowledge of HTML.

I have the midi files ready as they were OK on my old server,

Thanks

Thanks Helen,

You can embed a song into your site by just adding some code pretty much anywhere you'd like it to play. It's not going to be easy to figure out where that might be as you're using a Front Page setup which isn't very up to date, but a little trial and error should work well.

Here is a link of how to add HTML code to play music on website pages. There are quite a few examples which I'm sure one of them will do fine. Most of these you can add multiple players for so i f you have more than 1 song that you want to play and you don't want them in a play list but want them separate players, then just put the code in 2 different location (can be one right after the other just add some line breaks between them to separate them).

Hollar if you need help trying to insert the code and I or someone will be glad to give you a hand :)

Hope this helps.

Thanks once again. I have managed the audio for one file. My new site needs some work before I'm satisfied with it, but I think CoffeeCup is great and the support is first class.

Helen,

I was looking at your site and none of your images show up. I looked at the source code and you have this src="Images\b-home.jpg" as your src perimeters. All your images are like this.

You may know this already but the \b-home.jpg should be /b-home.jpg on all your images. :P Just switch all the \ to / on all the images and they should show up correctly. :P
