hello... I was just referred to this post by the nice people at mailchimp.

Doing what you suggested fixed the email length, but not the firstname, lastname and telephone (all text fields). I went through, did it all again to make sure. Refreshed, and still nada.

:( Any advice?

I would suggest going through this article here at http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/ … mailchimp/ and make sure you are following all the proper steps.

I have now tried to make checkboxes work with 3 different test forms, but to no avail.

My latest attempt was with the new Coffeecup 2.1 and fancy forms.

This app would be the perfect solution and my organization would purchase it...if only I can make the checkboxes work.

For checkboxes, you need to use Groups inside of MailChimp.

Mailchimp automatically generates groups when you use the checkbox options. When I click on "Groups" under my list, I can see the groups, which are identical to the ones I have on my sign-up form.

Thanks Scott for taking the time to help me out.

Hi all,

I had the same problem that selected checkboxes in the form built with CoffeeCup's Form Builder Lite were not correctly transferred to my MailChimp maillist.

I am 100% sure that the text in both cases is exactly the same. In fact, like Jenny above, I used the button "Create Elements for All Unmatched Fields" which exactly replicates the checkboxes.

Going through the process results in not sync'ing the checkboxes correctly (or not at all) with MailChimp.

(It works fine with radio buttons, BTW)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Manfred

I’m having problems with the Groups integration as well – though my coffeecup form has the group option, it doesn’t translate to my MailChimp List. I’ve had to manually add these one by one, and it’s time consuming.

Also, I’m having the problem that certain subscriptions (roughly 10%) don’t transfer over to MailChimp. The subscribers are in the coffeecup form results, but not the MailChimp list. Very frustrating!

I've tried using the radio buttons, but it doesn't work.
Manfred - how did you make it work with the radio buttons?
