I am really interested in Forms Builder and would like to try it out but when I install I get error 1500 Another installation is already in progress. You must complete that installation before continuing this one. I have even rebooted thinking somehow I had already started an installation by accident. No luck!!! I really want to try it as if it works it will save me money over what I am using now which is paid jot form, and I don't even like the forms I get with jot form. If I can't even install the trial version would the paid version even install after I paid for it? I really want to try it and see if I like it before I purchase it. any suggestions?

I'm not able to open your attachment, and also I don't know what that 'error1500' is. I have alerted the CC support to your problem.

Might this Windows Vista answer perhaps help?

If Windows Vista is in fact being used, it is probably worth checking whether Form Builder is advertised as compatible with that.

Sorry Should have stated my operating system, not vista but windows 10 and is completely updated, but thanks for the info, if I were running vista it might be a big help.

Googling 'error 1500 windows 10' brings up so many web pages with solutions that it seems to me likely that it is a fairly common Windows 10 problem rather than something specific to Form Builder. Most of the answers seem to suggest that the error message is true, and involve trying to find and eliminate (usually using the Windows Task Manager) whatever is automatically trying to load on startup.

If the CoffeeCup team, or an answer Googled as above, do resolve the issue, a note in this thread of what did the trick may well help any others who hit the problem.

I hope you manage to get the matter resolved without too much bother.

You are correct and Inger sent me a solution https://windowstechies.com/-/en/filename/?file=Error%201500%20Windows%2010&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIqaL_iPqI5gIVweWaCh3w8Az9EAAYASAAEgIhTfD_BwE the program that you download here fixes the problem as a matter of fact it found over 2000 problems and fixed them with my Windows 10. but it definitely fixed the error 1500 problem. Thanks Inger!!!
