I have been using webcam to upload a picture every 60 seconds to my website for years, FLAWLESSLY!, and now our server will not accept FTP anymore, and requires uploads from SFTP. I cant seem to locate this feature in webcam, but maybe there is a new version with this capability?

any ideas how to upload a web pic on a 60 second schedule using SFTP?

Much thanks

I believe there are such FTP programs available. I have it on my to-do list for VSD. I think a lot of the host companies will follow Yahoo's lead.

Sorry I do not, I have downloaded some instructions on the requirements for a command line setup which I am trying to get my head a round. I also downloaded a client at http://winscp.net to see what ticks.
If you get it working to upload at least one picture, I may be able to knock up a simple program for you to run it on a timed basis to repeat that. They have a forum at winscp so there could be help there. You do some of the heavy lifting and I will help.

You can try this ... http://www.bitvise.com/tunnelier

Looks like it 'might' work. Check the FAQs section for 'Connecting to an SFTP Server with an FTP Client'.

Looks like you load and run the 'client' on your computer, then connect as normal with your FTP program and the 'client' translates to SFTP.

Let us know if it works for you.
