Hello World! - Post ID 293801
Hi All,
I'm new to CoffeeCup, so I thought I would introduce myself here first.
I was playing with site designer 6.6.3 and made this Holy Grail Layout via the tutorial's located here (about halfway down)
https://tutorials.coffeecup.com/site-designer/videos.html#introduction
I was attempting to attach it for this post but it will not allow me. I get the error:
"Sorry, we couldn't start the thread for the following reasons: Your attachment must be one of: .TXT, .SNP, .ZIP, .RSD, .RLM, .RLMP, .RED, .GIF, .JPG, or .PNG format".
Interesting since the file I was attempting to load was "HolyGrail.rds". ¯\_(?)_/¯
Anyway, that was just a fun aside. My focus is on getting my site operational. I am still chasing some functionality like expanding/collapsing taxonomy sidebar menus (as seen in AWS documentation). I will be posting a thread about this in the site designer section.
Thanks!

Welcome to the forums, I believe you have to export the SD project file and then zip it. So, the attachment would be zipped SD project file. When people download the zipped attachment it opens automatically with the SD application on the down loaders computer and they have to have the app installed for it to work.

Timothy, your file extension is misspelled. It has to be .rsd. You may still have to zip it, but you don't need to export it first. Mind you, if the file is too big, it would be better to pop it into your dropbox (or similar) and post the URL in the forum.
