I have a html file with words and its meaning (several meanings is usual)
It's not a html table.
I attach the file html.html .

If you teach me to convert one word I will know how to do the rest.

Best Regards

Greetings from Canary Islands.

Notes : I tried to attach as a zip file but not allowed. So I have changed the extension to txt files
The original file was html.html
and now is html.html.txt

I don't understand.

I think a csv file must use a delimiter like ";" .

It's the first word is "better".
The first line must be Better ; <meanings>

But I don't know how to put the meanings in a line.

I think I must use the html codes together with the meaning in the line.

In Microsoft Excel, I think that I did approximately what was wanted with one word very quickly as follows -
(a) I opened the html file in a browser and copied everything regarding the word. I did it for the first word, 'bigger'.
(b) I pasted what has been copied into an Excel worksheet: it appeared in a single column, and covered 67 rows.
(c) I selected that block of rows in that column, and copied it.
(d) I right mouse-clicked on the row in a second worksheet in which it was to appear, and selected the 4th Paste Option (Transpose).

I did the above for just one word, but, of course one could do item (a) for the whole file, and then do items (b) - (d) for each word individually.

Excel allows one to save its files in CSV format.

CSV means 'comma separated values, so the delimiter is a comma.

I have never succeeded in opening a csv file in Excel directly, so what I do is opening it in Google docs, and from there I save it as an Excel file. By going this way, I get all the values that are separated by commas into the correct columns.
