Cannot create notification message...

Web Forms Builder v2.5 build 5437
I have set a notification email recipient in notifications settings, but cannot add & save a custom HTML template - I select "Add custom HTMP Template", enter a Template Name, enter my HTML code, and then "save" after entering email code in the "Customize Notification Message" window, but the template just disappears and isn't there to select.

When I try to publish, I get the message "You've chosen to send a notification message but didn't specify where to send it to nor which template to use. Please choose a template and enter an email address that will receive the emails located in the "Notification" section of the Settings menu"

There IS an email address in the TO field, and there are NO templates to select, and when I enter the HTML it just disappears when I click save.

Any ideas here?

Also, no themes are found when I select Themes icon. I've uninstalled & reinstalled the software and get the same results.

What you are describing sounds like a bad install as the themes folder is missing. What I would like you to first do is uninstall the version you have now and then download the software again from our website. To download any registered software or to download any free upgrades, please go to My Products from within your account. Once the software list appears, click the "download" button next to the software you wish to install.

That should address both issues for you. If that does not work, open a support ticket and we can try a few other things.

I'm having the exact same issue. Purchased today and downloaded latest version. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling without success.

As per above...

Can you please help.

Your issue is not the same as listed here. This is most likely because your documents folder is not pointing to your local C: drive. You would need to point your documents folder to the C: drive rather than the networked drive it is currently pointed to.

If you have an IT department, contact them and they should be able to set this up for your profile. :)

Is there something I can do to redirect the save/load path? What directory are these files normally saved to (if standard install)?

Thank you for your assistance.

The file path is C:\Users[USERNAME]\Documents\CoffeeCup Software\ Web Form Builder the app needs the document folder to be located there. You may be able to reroute it, but we would not have instructions for doing so.

Hello Adam and thank you for your response.

I've had our IT team look into this and they're tried to import a theme. It produces the following error...

"The theme is corrupted and could not be imported. This problem may be fixed by re-downloading the theme'.

I've done this a couple of times without success. Still produces the same error.

Bump on this issue. I'm having the same problem. Not able to select, create, import or edit any email notification template. Just showing "Please select an email template" on the Notifications tab. I try to set up a template and nothing saves. I try to import an .fbe file and it won't save.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
