Steve, what you show above is what lead me to believe the client would have this available on his computer to go back to whenever an edit was needed. But, if I understood everyone above, it seems this is only available when you first create the slider – that there's no way to access this for further edits.
Eric, you (and others) helped me get a PHP/MySQL gallery up and running. It had an easy to use dashboard for the client, unfortunately, the drag/drop to arrange photos feature wouldn't work. So $49 down the drain on that one.
Anyway, it needs to function as a banner on the home page between the header and the main content.
Here's how it works in Jalbum...
-I create the slider, set the FTP info and install it on the home page (setting the size, position, margins, etc.). No Iframes needed.
-I install the Jalbum software on the client's computer.
-Client goes to a visual, drag-drop interface to add/delete photos.
-Saves and clicks publish.
-Slider on website is updated, no need for client to ever go to the actual webpage or touch any code.
I'm about to start telling clients – if you want to do it yourself, learn HTML, CSS, JS, PHP.... and DO IT YOURSELF
