Great links so far, everyone! Thanks!

Forgive me if someone has posted this, but this is the best site I have found that has a large list of sites categorized by subject (CSS, Javascript, Usability & Accessibility, etc). It includes some of the links people have posted already.

Props to Vitaly Friedman for capturing all these links in a user friendly home!

If you're looking for a really good book to start you out from ground zero and take you all the way up to coding respectably-complicated web sites (including some forms stuff), I highly recommend Head First HTML with CSS & XHTML. You can use it either in conjunction with the CC HTML Editor, or with just a text editor, however you're the most comfortable.

html and css for the absolute beginner is pretty good. They also have a new series out that actually comes with a DVD for instruction.
