Tablets and drop down menus?? - Post...

I'm curious to know whether anyone has encountered an issue with tablets and drop down menus. I don't have one personally but my wife does and I was just using it doing some testing and found that sites I've done don't work with drop downs. Thinking it was only my sites I went on other including CC and none of them work, Miranda my wife says it's always like that but she's OK with it. She uses a Samsung Galaxy 7in, has anyone else experience with it? or is this just a one that doesn't work how it should.

Okay, my phone does not get a signal at the house (to far out in the woods) but, My Nook is an HD+ 9" tablet. Now, your http://bobbiejoesbeauty.com site looks great on my Nook, and works well. Your http://misterwebguy.com site also looks good. Neither converts to drop down menus on my 9" screen so I guess no real help. Just wanted to let you know your sites look good on a 9" tablet.:cool:

If you click your mouse on "community" at the top of the page it doesn't work. On one of my sites http://dhtmlrocks.co.uk/ where programs are and the drop down that doesn't work either. On things like Amazon.co.uk she says it works sometimes and not others. It might just be hers or the model I don't know but it is weird

Okay, got my phone to work. CoffeeCups website works like a champ. Your sites, both listed above will resize but the menus do not go to the drop down. They are really really tiny and I have to blow them up to use them. Got a problem there Steve. :P

I mean zoom/pinch! The menu's stay in a horizontal position and just shrink. They don't go to the drop down icon like CC's website does.

I setup some of my css menu's to over come this.

Yeah I used to do that too, I used to just code it all myself but got CSS menu from a company that I thought worked fine until I saw this with my wife's tablet.

Which websites do you mean Gunsmoke? The one I quoted in the first post is the one to try out the one's underneath don't have a drop down apart from one page out of quite a few. nbdesigns doesn't have drop down. Are you saying CC's have a drop down? It doesn't work like that I don't think on my touchscreen MP3, it's just a menu but I don't think it's drop down.
