haha Inger, very happily I might add, how many hubbies do you know would let their wife sit on a computer all day and night doing websites and playing games? LOL I got the best of all worlds with this one, I think I'll keep 'im
Putting websites before playing games in your post implies more work gets done, and we all know that is not true.
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!

Have the Coffeecup HTML editor. Works well most of the time for what I want it to do. Have been trying to add a favicon to our website using the HTML editor, but it does not support .ico files. Downloaded the trial version of the VSD, but am unable to import the index page from the website to create the desired favicon! Is there any other way to do this? Very frustrating! I might be webmaster of our small non-profit, but this does not make me proficient in HTML: I do not want to needlessly spend our limited resources downloading the full version of VSD. Seems like many others are having the same problems
Welcome to the forum, Gregory!
I've used this favicon generator many times (and with VSD sites), it's from the HTML-Kit company:
http://www.htmlkit.com/favicon/
Once you create your favicon, it will give you the code and instructions - it doesn't matter what program you used to create your site, as long as you can access the code. Just follow the instructions Let us know if you need any more help!
(VSD creates its own .vnu files that generate the html pages on upload. They can't be 'read' by the HTML Editor, and VSD can only open .vnu files.)
Edit--- Just found this how-to thread:

Sorry if this is off-topic...
I've read that other sites cant be imported to VSD, but does anyone know if a VSD files can be opened, or imported into HTML Editor? How about after it's published? Can HTML Editor import it from the web? I got the paid versions of both programs a couple years ago in a package deal l bought, but have never used either of them.
And/or...
After a VSD site is published, can it be imported cleanly from the web into other programs (such as Dreamweaver, or Expression Web), or does proprietary code muck it up?
I'm thinking of using VSD to do some quick websites but dont want to be locked into one program if a site outgrows VSD. Also, l know CC has been around for a long time, but all good things come to an end eventually, and dont want to be stuck with websites that cant be updated properly.
