In this international forum (well, some of us are not Americans at least...) a lot of countries operate with different ways of writing dates. CC has added some variations into the new form builder, but there are more out there. Please check the options available, and if you don't find the one(s) for your country, then add it here!

For Norway I'm missing dd.mm.yyyy and dd.mm.yy.
Ha en riktig god dag!

Ideally, there would be a way to create custom formats, much like can be done in desktop applications. It could be done through some sort of config file that is loaded when Form Builder starts.

I format my dates in one of the following (using December 19, 2011):

mm.dd.(cc)yy 12.19.2011 or 12.19.11
dd-mmm-(cc)yy 19-Dec-2011 or 19-Dec-11
ccyy.mm.dd 2011.12.19
ccyymmdd 20111219

With the (cc) representing an optional century.

(I don't know if any of the above are available in the latest build as I can't intall it. We don't use IE as our browser.)

Format dd:mm:yy or yyyy is common in Europe and without it forms would be of little use.
Thanks, David

ddmmyy is available on the latest update. If you have already purchased, make sure you go to your downloads section and get the current version (1.1 build 3182).

Hi, I am really liking the web form builder however, is there a way of formatting the calendar date format to 'DD,dd MM yy' ?

On the 'validation_data.js' file I have changed the dateFormat to "DD,dd MM yy"
On the drop down calendar this works seems to work fine except but when I hit the submit button "eventdate must be correctly formatted and valid date." error message appears.
Is there any other file I should change to make it work?

Also is there a way of making the 'Allow Dates' field from present date onwards only (ie no past dates allowed )

Many thanks.

That date format as you found out requires you hack the files. I'm not sure what other file needs to be adjusted but I suspect it's in the validation. As far as the date selection being limited to only days onward, that would make a great suggestion.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
