I had a response from JustHost yesterday. They just said that they couldn't find anything on my server directory that could be slowing things down...

Common answer from a bad host. What is the link to the page with your form on justhost? I want to access it from here and see if location makes any difference on how fast it processes. If you don't mind...
Actually they've been a very good host up to now. But there's no room for loyalty as far as web hosting sites go.

Anyway, the link is acmfootball.com/contactus

Try this. Access the form directly and look how much faster it loads:

Sent you a test from the form let me know if you get it. I did notice it loaded pretty slow... maybe 3-4 seconds... not to bad but not instant like it does for my web froms.

Okay. The form submitted in about 6 seconds whether it was accessed from your website, or directly. Scott, I don't think he was talking about load times, though I could be wrong, I thought he was talking about the submit time. The time it takes to submit and get to the confirmation page. The times were the same for me no matter how it was accessed. If it's slow for you, maybe it's just a 'local' problem. Not with your host.

Now, about your page load times. Your page loads a little slow. I'm assuming because of the header, footer, and menu graphics. Not absurdly slow, but seems to lag a little behind other sites I've visited. May just be a matter of optimizing graphics. You code your page though, and I'm no coder, so maybe someone else here can help with that.

Ok I have reposted the form to my server for you Andrew. Here is the link

The form submitted almost instantly. Give it a try and let me know what you think. I still think this is a host issue even though they are denying it.

Hey Steve, took 2 seconds from your server! Big improvement.

Of course we're still talking about only 4 seconds difference. :P

Well thats a 66% increase. It loads as fast as any other of my forms. I think we have confirmed that it is a host issue no matter what the host says.

I don't think it's a 'load' issue. It's how fast it submits and gets you to the confirmation page. And you are correct, it's considerably faster on your host.

Yep, it's definitely noticeably faster. I think I'll have to consider changing web hosts then because the delay is not good for UX.

Or you could also publish the form to S-Drive. ;)
