Hi Durk have you checked with the application requirements? Your server will need to be able to run PHP.

Hey Durk,

Looks like there is an issue with your .NET installation.

Follow these steps:

1. Uninstall the software.

2. You will need to visit this site (http://www.ccleaner.com/), and download the free version by following the download links, then install it onto your computer. Now you will need to run the application and select the Registry tool on the left, then scan for issues. Next you will need to click "Fix selected issues" and do not back up the changes to the registry. Then click on the option to fix all selected issues.

3. Reboot

4. Repeat step 2 to make sure all issues were fixed. If new issues were found, reboot one more time.

Now we need to make sure .NET is installed:

1. Uninstall all versions of .NET from highest version to lowest version.

2. Reboot

3. Go to http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=21 and download dotNetFx35setup.exe and install it.

4. Reboot.

Now we are going to clear out all Windows Temp files:

Windows XP: Go to the Start Menu > Run and type %TEMP% and hit enter. I want you to select all the files and delete them. You may get a warning on one or two files that you cannot delete them, but that is ok.

Windows Vista/7: Go to the Start Menu and in the white box type %TEMP% and hit enter. I want you to select all the files and delete them. You may get a warning on one or two files that you cannot delete them, but that is ok.

Now it's time to re-install the software

1. To download any registered software or to download any free upgrades, please go to My Products from within your account. Once the software list appears, click the "download" button next to the software you wish to install.

2. Install Web Form Builder

With any luck, you should now be good to go! :)

A recovery in my experience causes far more problems, especially if you are dealing with a 3 year old recovery. Always good to start fresh with a clean OS and format. The error getting is coming from .NET libraries which are corrupted. Typically I have found the only way to repair those is by a format (not recovery).

Well I tried it all in fact the dotnetfx35 din't even want to install.
So after all that we reinstalled dotNetFx45_Full_setup, which was on the comp to begin with and all seems to be ok again as far as operating the computer. Interestingly this is the only time we had a problem with one of your programs or any other one for that matter.
How do we go about to get our purchase reimbursed. as this is has take way too much time an d worry and not worth it I'm sorry to say.

I've had this recurring problem as well. Have had a ticket open with Scott previously but couldn't find the solution.

I have just stumbled on solution. It is when you hide the Coffecup Software folder and all files and sub folders, that is created in the My Documents folder. If you want to hide the folder, just hide the folder and no sub folders or files.
Works perfectly now for me :-)

Hope it helps.

Hi Simon

Could you provide a little more detail please?

FYI, I added a new user to my computer and get this error when trying to use Web Form Builder with the new user. Old users work fine.

Just a small correction.

WFB worked fine just once with my new user profile, now it errors consistently.

At the moment I'm logging in with my old profile to work with WFB but it would be great to resolve.
