I know exactly what Eric means and in part I can agree that everything seems a little larger than life... sort of cartoony if you like. But that was made it all seem so much more accessible to me (visual impairment aside) and much more approachable. Some of these really sleek, slick sites selling software frighten the life out of me and I know before I even look that the learning curve is going to be more time than the fraction of a life time that I have left to spare on learning it all. Whereas CC has this kind of homely, familiar feel about it which encourages (and encouraged) me to try out their stuff which might just be within my mental reach.
So yes... he is right, but I am sure, in spite of what Scott says here... that the whole cartoon affect was intentional and most definitely works well!
Right?

YES, thats it!!!!!

I must admit I thought the headings on these particular forums are larger than what I see on other forums, I noticed it the first time I logged in, but I don't mind at all.
In fact I like it.

Well, speaking for part of the "old fart" brigade with eyesight that is a fading memory. The style is a bit larger than life (my setup 1440x900) but much appreciated by my eyes.

I hate sites that try to force me to read their info at a font size smaller that the smallest classified ad in a newspaper. (Yes, I know how to compensate for that. Not the point and I despise them anyway):D
