I will admit that I went to my account and checked to see everything was as it should be.. I never did figure out exactly what the guy was after, but I wasn't buying it, what ever it was.. ;)

Another Scam. I been getting postal mail from a domain registration company for the past few years that looks like a bill trying to get me to register my domains for $29 dollars per year instead of $7-9 with 1and1.

I get those at least once a month as well and it looks so official too. The ones I get come with a pre-paid envelope to mail it back to them. I like to fill that envelope with glitter and send it back. This way who ever opens it gets a nice messy desk!

Yeah I get the ones in the Postal mail all the time too, only mine want me to register for $79.00 not $29.00 lol, at least the ones you're getting are more reasonable scammers LOL :P

l like to return the ones that come with a pre-paid return envelope, no matter who it comes from.
They usually have the pre-paid envelopes that they pay for ONLY if they get returned.
So I take everything, including the original envelope, tear it all up into small pieces, put it in the return envelope and send it back.
Great stress reliever too. :D

I read an article about someone who does that for all junk mail offers. It is defiant but one or two coming back this way is not going to break the bank. But funny none the less.

Scott, you're such a brat. :)

In the 'old days', when everybody was faxing stuff, before emails came about, I was getting this fax every morning around 5 am, just advertising, nothing I wanted. And it covered several pages, thus using up my paper. So I stuck it back into the fax machine, and had glued together some of those pages that came in so that they made a loop, and then I faxed it back, letting the fax run for half an hour or so, looping the glued-together pages a number of times. It actually helped! ;)

That's funny. I knew this guy who would get crazy mad when people faxed him junk mail offers. He would call their 800 number to give them some charges to pay, in return. :)
