I don't see anything telling us about this update of CSS.

I'm sure they will post something soon. There's been updates in the past. Were a change-log wasn't posted for days or weeks at a time.

edit:

I'd say the most significant , and obvious change is the new element tab. There's probably various bug fixes, and possibly even updates to referenced source code ( jquery comes to mind) . It looks like they launched a new tutorial / documentation.

Another new thing is, that if you happen to click on the breakpoint line by mistake, you get a warning so that you can decide whether you wanted to create that breakpoint or not. That was one of the things that had been asked for a couple of times.

Thanks, everyone.
I do like the changed Elements Tab, though it takes some getting used to.
Don't know if new release is faster, though I hope so.
MY PROBLEM so far: for for Projects I had in previous version, my Symbols do not appear properly on the page!!!
I am investigating.
I had opened current project with new release. Reinstalled previous release, but it won't open the current project I had opened with newer release. Yikes!

Stay tuned . . .

It happens regularly that new versions of an app are not backwards compatible with older versions. Therefore I usually make a copy of a project before I try it in a new version or build.

I often see people needing help with something and are asked to post their projects. And if I pick it up to see what is wrong, I sometimes make a correction and post it back. On such an occasion it has happened that I have used a newer version than the one the project was made with. Therefore it would help if you always let us know which version and build you are using. It's no problem for me to quickly go back to an earlier version if necessary.

Yikes is right! It is absolutely mandatory that Coffeecup creates their new versions that deal with there older versions of the software. We are not talking about going from VSD to SD5 but certainly anything in the SD/RSD universe should be able to open. If not they need to completely switch there file extensions to the newest version so our older version continues to work.

If this becomes the new normal this will be devastating to me as I have over 150 clients with most of the still on RSD 1.5. Of course anything newer is being built in SD5.

Hey, things are looking pretty darned good with new release. Seems faster. Developer section is better, though I will need to work with it a while to use the changes and new layout better.
I will clean up some things in my project that may have been iffy and see if that takes care of my "problems."
