Hi Ernie, If it is going to cover the whole page, then it is much easier. See if this is something you can use:

I didn't have an image at hand that would cover the whole height without stretching it out of proportions, and of course, I don't know how much content the page is to have anyway.

Inger,
That sort of works. The image still doesn't show entirely when at mobile.
I'll keep working on it and see what I can do.

Wayan,
Did you get my email? If I remember correctly we had trouble connecting via email before one time. Let me know.

Wayan,
Don't worry about this right now, your health is more important. I hope you get home soon.

I have struggled to imagine quite what Ernie's client had in mind. Images of course have aspect ratios which cannot be made to fit exactly on every screen or browser window at full width and full height without either distortion or cropping. I therefore guessed that it might be a couple of small images in the centre of the screen that were in mind, with the text and other items scrolling over them.

If my guess is correct, the attached file may help. It is purely to show a simple method of doing this. I have paid no regard to making it pretty.

Frank,
I'll take a look at that file and thank you.

I was working on this while eating lunch and noticed that 3 of the 5 pages were working Like they were supposed to work. The American flag was full size at all breakpoints. (Just the two standard ones and one at 350px.)

I went into the container and viewed the settings for the background image but all 5 pages were set the same.

I created a backup file (#3) and deleted 2 pages that were not working. That was the index and contact page (with an html container and the contact form code in there.).

Then copied one of the working pages and renamed the new ones accordingly.

I'm going to create a completely new file from scratch this evening and see if the BG settings work.

If we were able to take a look at your work, so as to see the dimensions of the image(s) you want to add as background pics, it would be easier to come up with ideas.

I just got back in here. Big storm off the next hurricane rolled through.

Here's the test file I created to see if I had this fixed. I realized that I could only put 10 text fields in before it started messing with the BG flag.
At this point I don't know what will happen when I add the footer container or other content. Like the Contact form on the contact page.
